Warwickshire Wildlife Trust
About The Trust
A leading local environment charity which helps to protect wildlife and natural habitats throughout Warwickshire, Coventry, Sutton Coldfield and Solihull. The trust manages 40 nature reserves which cover more than 2,000 acres of woodlands, meadows and wetlands. It campaigns on nature conservation issues, works with planners to protect natural habitats and liaises with local community groups and schools to provide help where needed.
Based at Brandon Marsh Nature Centre near Coventry, the Trust has a superb Visitor Centre which was opened in 1998 by Sir David Attenborough, the famous anthroplogist.
A beautiful nature trail on the site is available to visitors which takes you through the natural habitats of some truly beautiful wildlife.
There is also an amazing education centre with regular talks on wildlife and conservation plus the opportunity to participate in seminars and lectures.
